The Malaysian Method

The Malaysian Method DVD

DO YOUR CLIENTS CRAVE flat, smooth hair extensions but don't want to deal with ridges or scalp damage? Hollywood hairstylist Lisha Coleman has the answer to this common dilemma with an educational video that teaches professionals her progressive non-braiding method, the perfect way to deliver natural-looking hair extensions without using cornrows, glue, braids or machines.

"The Malaysian Method is a unique sewing technique that ties wefts onto a client's own hair but uses no chemicals or resins to secure them," says Coleman. "Since the hair is carefully sectioned and the application is so precise, the scalp stays healthy because it can breathe. Hair can be brushed , shampooed and styled without worrying about damaging the follicle or weakening hair shafts."

Coleman, who also hosts her own television show in California that might soon be taken to a nationwide emerging cable network, finds the method works on all hair types, though it's best to relax African-American hair first.

You'll need about three hours to do a full head, but you'll bring in between $500 and $1750 a client. To order Coleman's video call 281.335.8620 or check out her comprehensive website at www.lisha.com.
